NitroFlo

Across the UK, growers are finding liquid fertilisers to be cost-effective and high-performing. The use of liquid fertilisers increases yield and produces healthier crops due to the guaranteed even spread when applying and easy nutrient uptake by crops.

In addition, liquid fertiliser goes hand in hand with variable rate application, meaning growers can plan for an economic and effective application according to their specific needs and expect robust results. The Nitroflo range is a premier selection of liquid nitrogen plus sulphur fertilisers.

Product description

There are seven products in the Nitroflo range, each with a different ratio of nitrogen to sulphur. For full details of each, click here. An overview is provided below.

The benefits of using NitroFlo

  • Can be applied using standard farm sprayers at wide bout widths
  • Application is up to 20% more accurate compared to solid alternatives
  • Liquid fertiliser can be applied in a wider weather window than solid fertiliser
  • Three nitrogen sources in one product: ammonium, nitrate and urea
  • No offloading costs or labour required due to direct pumping into on-farm tanks
  • No hazchem storage restrictions or driver certification required to transport
  • Savings in storage, loading/offloading costs and reduced wastage.

Nitroflotable

w/w is the fertiliser analysis per tonne, w/v is the fertiliser analysis per 1000L. To calculate the analysis from w/w to w/v you must know the specific gravity (S.G.) of the product.

The calculation: w/w x SG = w/v and conversely w/v ÷ SG = w/w.
