Seamless Logistics

Frontier’s collaborative relationships with growers and end grain consumers help us to successfully manage the full arable supply chain and associated logistics. Frontier has its own fleet of more than 90 bulk grain trucks and 50 delivery vehicles and the largest storage capacity in the UK. This enables us to efficiently manage the collection and delivery of all products and outputs associated with crop production. This is principally movement of grain from farm to grain consumer but also covers delivery of essential elements of crop production such as fertiliser, crop protection products and seed.

Logistics

Our logistics team manages the movement of five million tonnes of UK farmers’ grain throughout the UK each year alone. This equates to more than 600 movements every day and that number increases to thousands during peak periods, such as at harvest.
