Soil Management Plan (SMP) (suitable for SFI – SAM1)

Our in-depth plan covers all aspects of the written soil management plan requirements. A complete soil assessment including soil type, texture and structure, topography, and designated and sensitive features is included along with the risk assessment details and recommended management actions. The plan can be used to guide actions to improve soil health and forms part of the evidence required for SFI - SAM1.

Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) (suitable for SFI – NUM1)

The detailed nutrient management plan assesses the farms approach to, and details methods to optimise, nutrient usage. Based on the “Tried and Tested” nutrient management plan; nutrient and pH requirements, soil analysis (P, K, Mg), indicative nutrient levels from all organic sources (including crops residues and legumes), and a calculation of crop requirement are included. As well as being part of the evidence required for SFI - NUM1 this plan supports compliance with FRfW and NVZs (including N-Max).

Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) (suitable for SFI – IPM1)

The IPMP includes an overview of the IPM actions currently undertaken as well as planned opportunities to explore. The plan details information on the prevention, detection, non-chemical control methods, and chemical control measures as well as supporting the assessment and evaluation of IPM both in season and annually. The plan can be used as evidence as required for SFI - IPM1.

Manure Management Plan (MMP)

Our manure management plan helps you to identify how much land you have available for spreading (accounting for restricted areas) and calculates the capacity for your farm. Additionally, the total organic N produced and imported is supplied which demonstrates the land required to spread. Guidance on the use of biosolids and other organic waste is included, as are calculations on slurry and dirty water storage requirements. This plan supports the compliance with NVZs and FRfW.
