Trussell Trust food banks receive £20k donation from Frontier for third consecutive year

Frontier Agriculture donated £20 for every one of its 1,000 employees to the Trussell Trust, a charity working to end UK hunger and poverty, over the Christmas period. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has made a donation of this amount to the charity.

“The last few years have been challenging for us all, with the financial impact of Brexit, the global pandemic and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine affecting businesses, families and individuals,” says Frontier managing director, Mark Aitchison. “As a result, we have seen a significant rise in the cost of living and consequently a growing reliance on food banks.

“A number of Frontier colleagues volunteer at Trussell Trust food banks across the country and we are fortunate to be in a position to donate to them again this year. We hope our donation will play a part in helping them to continue to provide vital support to those who need it most.

“Sharing our success and doing the right thing is embedded in our culture and fits naturally with our sustainability approach, ‘The Responsible Choice’,” Mark concludes. To find out more about Frontier’s work under The Responsible Choice, visit www.frontierag.co.uk/about/trc.
