The Directors of Boston Seeds Limited have agreed the sale of their online and wholesale seed services operation to Frontier Agriculture.
The Company will continue to operate as a totally standalone, independently managed subsidiary of Frontier, headed up by current Managing Director, George Wallis. Andrew Wallis will also continue as a Director of Boston Seeds to support their ambitious growth plans.
Boston Seeds has established a unique reputation for expertise and service in the rapidly growing small seeds and niche crops sector, developing their innovative ecommerce platform to provide easy online access to an extensive range of stewardship mixtures, wildflowers, cover crops, forage crops and consumer products.
George Wallis, commenting on the news said – “Over the last 20 years we have developed Boston Seeds to become one of the most respected businesses in our sector. Andrew and I are both very excited about our new ownership and are confident it will accelerate the implementation of our ambitious future growth plans. This deal enables us to further invest in new digital online services and to bring our business to a wider range of customers. It’s good news for our farmers, wholesale clients and our employees.”
