The directors of Frontier Agriculture Ltd and GFP Ltd have reached agreement to form a joint venture operation to process and market seed in the East Midlands.
Under the arrangement, GFP will continue to operate as a separate independent entity with Frontier taking a significant stake in the business.
The collaboration will enable GFP to gain access to Frontier's extensive variety portfolio, technical and trials support and financial resources, while Frontier will gain access to GFP's modern processing capacity and mobile seed cleaning business.
GFP will continue to be run by the existing directors, Matt Phillips and Mike Gibson. Bill Faulding will be leaving the company to pursue his other business interests.
The new structure comes into operation with immediate effect.
